Why They Get Compared at All
Most of the world's raw hair — Indian, Vietnamese, Cambodian — is thick-stranded, straight and deep black. Slavic hair is the opposite: fine strands, soft movement, naturally light bases. Iranian hair belongs to that second family. Same fine strand character, same soft natural wave, same brown-to-light base that lifts to blonde without destruction. In blind texture tests, experienced wig makers place it beside European hair, not beside Asian origins.
Where Slavic Hair Still Wins
- The lightest natural blondes. Genuine natural level 8–10 blonde raw hair is essentially a Slavic monopoly. If the wig must be natural blonde with zero lifting, Slavic is the answer — at Slavic prices.
- Ultra-fine "baby hair" texture. The very finest strand diameters in the trade come from northern Slavic donors.
Where Iranian Hair Wins
- Price for comparable texture. Our published lots trade at $2,500–3,000/kg — European-family texture at roughly half the price of verified Slavic.
- Donor yield. Iranian single-donor cuts run 150g and up — fuller bundles, less blending, less waste per wig.
- Supply you can actually verify. Slavic supply is shrinking and opaque; a large share of "Slavic" lots on the market are relabeled. Our collection chain is documented openly and every lot can be tested live on camera before payment.
The Relabeling Problem
Here is the industry's quiet secret: there is far more "Slavic hair" for sale than there are Slavic donors. When a label carries a $5,000/kg premium, labels get creative.
