Iranian Hair Price per Kg: What the Market Really Pays (2026)

25 AUG 2026 · BY THE IRANIANHAIR TEAM · 6 MIN READ

Most origins hide their prices behind "DM us". We publish ours — so let's talk real numbers, and where Iranian hair sits in the global price map.

The 2026 Price Map by Origin

Approximate raw-hair wholesale ranges per kilogram across the trade: Cambodian $60–200 · Indian $80–250 · Vietnamese $400–1,490 · European-texture origins — Slavic, Central Asian and Iranian — from roughly $1,500 to $4,000+ for verified single-donor lots. At the very top, Israeli wig factories have listed virgin Iranian hair at $3,800+/kg for the kosher wig trade.

Our own current packages sit at $2,500–3,000/kg — every lot listed with its exact weight and total on the live pricing table, updated as stock moves.

Why the Premium Is Real

What Moves the Price of a Specific Lot

Inside any origin, four variables set the number: length (60cm+ commands the highest premium everywhere), texture uniformity, processing state (raw fresh-cut above washed virgin), and single-donor verification. A price that ignores these variables — suspiciously flat across lengths, or far below the origin's floor — is telling you the label is wrong.

The Honest Buying Math

Price per kilogram is only half the equation; the other half is usable yield. One kilogram of full, single-donor hair produces 4–6 wigs with minimal prep waste. Thin blended hair loses grams at every step. Divide price by finished units, not by raw weight, and premium origins look very different.

FAQ

How much does Iranian hair cost per kg?
Genuine single-donor Iranian lots trade at the premium end of the raw hair market. Our current published packages range from $2,500 to $3,000 per kilogram, listed openly with weights on our live stock board.
Why is Iranian hair more expensive than Indian hair?
Grams per donor and processing state. Indian hair trades at roughly $80–250/kg because supply is huge and mostly temple- or comb-collected. Iranian hair yields 150g+ per single donor, arrives unprocessed with a naturally lighter base, and supply is limited.
What drives the price of a specific lot?
Four things: length (60cm+ is scarce in every origin), texture uniformity, processing state (raw fresh-cut prices above washed virgin), and whether the lot is genuinely single donor.
